 We invite you to begin living your life on the right path. That path is beginning to live your life according

 to the wisdom and instruction of the almighty God. God's word is not something to oppress you and

 make you feel like you are not valuable. God's word is given to us to help us become righteous in

 our thinking which leads to righteous actions.

 Come join a ministry where we focus on family, marriages, parenting, relationships and building our

 youth up to run the world. We are calling and teaching men, to live like priests and kings of their homes,      

  women, to live like the Queens of their homes, and children to live like the Children of God that they

 were designed to be. Come see God and understand the Bible in a way you never have before.

  Experience a Sunday morning worship that reaches you on a holistic level. Gospel music, praise dancing, 

  African dancing and drumming, poetry reading and the powerful unashamedly Christian preaching of

 the word of God. Sankofa International Baptist Church is a community that teaches and lives the mandate

 of Jesus Christ to become one with all of our brothers and sisters. We have decided to “Be Saved,” which

 means to believe in the salvation offered through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ (John 3:16 ) His life,

 death and resurrection (Romans 10:9) and decided to follow Jesus' teaching on building the Kingdom of God  

 and the making of disciples (Luke 9:23 ). 

  Sankofa Church addresses the needs of the African American community and Africans throughout the     

  Diaspora. However, all are welcome to worship with us. Heavy  emphasis is placed on the struggle and 

  foundation laid by our human ancestors, the status and calling of the priesthood/clergy, the importance and 

  role of elders in nation building and community living, and the preservation of the family. Children are divine

  creations of God and should be nurtured, taught and spoken to as the present and future nations.
